League of Legends (LoL) is still one of the biggest PC games in the world. There is the MOBA title for the past ten years. This anniversary took Riot Games for the opportunity to make some announcements. The developer revealed that three LoL games will appear on the Smartphone. The popular mode team fight Tactics is to appear at the beginning of 2020 for Android and iOS, this will be identical to the PC Version and cross play allows. Also, the mobile Version of the card game Legends of Runeterra remains unchanged in comparison to the PC. LoL: Wild Rift, it looks a little different, this game will be fundamentally re-developed for Smartphones and consoles.
The basic principle of the game remains in the Wild Rift from LoL get. Ten players compete in Teams of 5 in Summoners Rift against each other and try to destroy the enemy Nexus. The controls are optimized for the Controller and the touch screen and also the game itself it seems to be a few Changes. A game on the Smartphone should be significantly shorter than in the PC version; Riot speaks of a duration of about 15-20 minutes. On the Computer the Matches take like a full hour. The disadvantage of the complete new beginning: Not all the characters are at the start of the game. In the PC version 145 so-called Champions are available.
First Beta-Phase in 2019
By the way, this is not the first mobile Game with the characters from League of Legends. In 2010, the company launched a Tower Defense App on the market, which has been discontinued. With Fortnite, PUBG, and most recently, Call of Duty, there are already some PC games on the phone, all of which are very successful. Also a mobile Version of LoL, this year there were already rumors.
